one of 500 Us market Majestics. Go put a starter in it and drive like a boss for $1500. also make sure it has an M in the 4th Vin spot to verify it is actually a Majestic, but it is the right color. Dayum!

Curse me not having a 9-months-out-of-the-year job that pays me >$50k. Curse it all to hell.

Orlove! Where are you?

I've probably got a spare starter for one of these somewhere as well...

IIRC I think it was the same starter as some GM product too. Go smack it with a hammer and drive it home though

That is a Majestic bastard. Those XJ40s really aren't bad.

I like them fine. Engines that have been serviced can go 300K easy. Bosch FI, GM transmission. Exhaust is a little expensive but they are great cars. The interior wood is terrible because it is actual veneer, but overall...

Hmmm, the V12s used GM 4L80-E autos, but the 6s used ZF 'boxes. 4HP22s or 4HP24s according to the interwebs.

Could be parts commonality somewhere with them :)

It'd cost a bit under $5K to convert it to a manual. $6500 for a V12, stick shift, super comfortable ride with a hint of class to it? Yes, please.
